Making Sense Of Trigonometry

Master the basics of Trigonometry and nail everything you learn in the classroom: Pythgoras theorem, ratios, the sine and cosine rules and more with easy videos

This course is an introduction to the Pythagoras theorem, as well as trigonometry and it's uses in Maths. This course goes through the basics of trigonometry for students in Years 9 & 10 (Middle School) and includes an introduction to the trigonometric ratios (sin, cos, tan) and how to use them in right angled triangles to calculate side lengths and angles. We also cover how to to apply the advanced trigonometric rules (the sine rule and the cosine rule) in order to expand into non-right-angled triangles. A perfect course for a student in Years 9 or 10, or older students needing a bit of a refresher. Also perfect for adult students who require trigonometry for their next career step (including entrance in public services roles such police, defence force) and for apprentices who require trigonometry for their examinations (including but not limited to electricians and other trades)

Pythagoras and Trigonometry are two of those topics that never seem to go away throughout every student's schooling career. They pop up again and again.

Every year, I see students struggle with this. It's a terrifying concept with an even more terrifying name.

This course aims to change that - by breaking down the concepts into easy to manage chunks that make sense and fit together neatly. Students can flow from one lesson to the next freely, and make sense of the curriculum. But the beauty of a course like this is that students can also go back and revise whenever they need.

There aren't many teachers or tutors who can say that they can teach Trigonometry in under 90 minutes, but this video course does that with time to spare; which gives students the opportunity to review time and time again without taking weeks to do so.

Trigonometry pops up again and again as students move through their schooling, no matter what level of Maths they choose to study - it's not one you can afford to miss out on!
